Two years ago, I started a little project I was so sure I was going to finish… and then, well, life happened.

A birth flower collection — at least one flower for every month. I got most of the way there, got distracted (aka lazy 😅), and never quite finished it.

So… I’m giving it another try!

The moment my customer asked for a custom glass featuring garlic and rosemary, I immediately knew how I wanted to paint it. The garlic just had to have a soft pearlescent finish, with hints of pink and lavender to give it that fresh, glistening look. Paired with the deep green rosemary sprigs, it came together even better than I had imagined.
Custom orders like this are some of my favorites because they let me bring someone else’s vision to life while adding my own artistic touch. I have to admit… this one is definitely one of my favorite pieces I’ve ever painted.
